Holiday club at Forest School for Life

Looking for something a little different this school holiday? Our holiday club offers a chance for children to press pause on screens and instead run free in the woods, getting muddy, and learning through play.

We invite local specialists into the site to talk about all things nature, and the children get two healthy meals and snacks throughout the day.

They have access to the woods and the opportunity to learn about tool use, den building, and outdoor cooking to name a few things.

Holiday club suitable for ages 4-14

Our holiday club is rooted in forest school values: child-led, play-based and full of freedom. We provide a safe and supportive space for children to explore at their own pace, build confidence, and enjoy the benefits of being outside all day — whatever the weather.

Activities may include:

• Woodland games and challenges

• Campfire cooking and storytelling

• Tool use, crafting and den building

• Nature-based art and bushcraft

• Wildlife spotting and sensory walks

• Free play and team adventures

There’s no pressure, no performance – just space to be wild, be creative, and be themselves.

“I love the holiday clubs which run through the half terms and summer holidays, giving the children a chance to interact with older children, and a chance for our child to return to the school in a few years.”

– Carla, parent
