What to expect for reception aged children
Reception aged children might:
• Take part in group projects like bug hotels or bird feeders
• Use tools to make crafty objects out of natural materials
• Build dens and invent roleplay scenarios
• Learn responsibility by helping to look after our woodland space
We believe that confident, happy learners start with rich experiences in the real world – and forest school provides the perfect setting to offer those experiences.
We always try to work in harmony with what your child is learning at school, and offer them the space to apply it in real-life, hands-on scenarios.
Next steps
Do you want to offer your child a different experience? Perhaps traditional school settings aren’t nurturing their learning in the best way and you want to discuss a hybrid option? Whatever the reason, get in touch with our team and we’ll be happy to help.
